Cryptid Tattoo and Oddities Expo (2026)

The 2026 Cryptid Tattoo and Oddities Expo offers a two-day immersion for enthusiasts of the weird, wild, and obscure arts. Scheduled for May 23rd-24th, 2026, the event will unfold at the Washington State Fair’s AgriPlex Building, located at 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup, WA 98371. Professionally organized, this expo aims to strengthen bonds within the arts and tattoo community, providing an environment that is fun, secure, and inclusive, promoting equality for all artists, clients, and attendees. On Saturday, May 23rd, doors open at 11 AM and close at 10 PM. Tattoo competitions include Funniest Tattoo at 12 PM, Small Color at 4 PM, American Traditional at 6 PM, Black and Grey at 8 PM, and Best Of Show at 9 PM. Workshops feature Raccoon Taxidermy (12 PM-3 PM), Rhino Beetle Pinning (1 PM-2:30 PM), Death Head Moth Pinning (3 PM-4:30 PM), and Jackalope Taxidermy (6 PM-9 PM). Annette LaRue will present on 'Coil Machines' from 3:30 PM-5:30 PM, with an additional activity at 2 PM. Sunday, May 24th, operates from 11 AM until 5 PM. Tattoo categories for the day are Large Black & Grey at 12 PM, Large Color at 3 PM, and Best in Show at 4 PM. Workshops scheduled include Jackalope Taxidermy (12 PM-2 PM), Stag Beetle Pinning (1 PM-2:30 PM), Atlas Moth Pinning (3 PM-4:30 PM), and Raccoon Taxidermy (3 PM-5 PM). Another activity is planned for 2 PM.
